01 / PRINCIPLE

Why there is no impeller blade

The cup revolves around the main axis while rotating on its own axis. The combined centrifugal forces make the material fold and mix itself along the cup wall — while the chamber is evacuated, so bubbles are removed during mixing, not afterwards.

Mixing and degassing happen together

Impeller mixing folds air into the material, which then needs settling or a separate degassing step — and high-viscosity pastes are hard to stir and harder to clean. In planetary centrifugal mixing the cup itself is the mixer: the material never touches machine parts, and changing materials just means changing cups.

Reproducible parameters, consistent batches

Speed, time and vacuum level are all set digitally and stored as programs — the recipe you tune in R&D is reproduced exactly, batch after batch.

Micro-bubbles in silver paste, solder paste or epoxy encapsulant become voids after curing — and voids show up directly in your yield.

Mixing happens inside a vacuum, so bubbles are gone before the material sets. Non-contact mixing also avoids shear damage to metal fillers.

Electrode quality depends on dispersion uniformity and batch consistency — hand-tuned stirring cannot be reproduced.

Rev/rot ratio and time are fully parameterized, so R&D recipes transfer straight to pilot runs. Small cups keep trial costs low for expensive active materials.

Materials only touch disposable or dedicated cups — switching formulations means switching cups. The benchtop unit runs on an ordinary lab bench, and we are minutes away from NCKU and ITRI Southern Campus in Tainan.
